Welcome to my website.

I am Judy of Judy McCatty Art.

I’m a professional artist from mid-Michigan who grew up in a small rural town with horses, cows, sheep, dogs, chickens, and cats.

I developed an interest in art at an early age. When I wasn’t riding horses, or helping with the chores I would draw, and paint. I pursued my interest in art through school.

I have worked with several different mediums over the years. My medium of choice is colored pencils. The detail work that they allow me to do helps to create a realistic painting.

My love of animals and nature are the reason I specialize in pet portraits, and things of nature, such as birds, flowers, and landscapes.
